It's like weird Extreme Sports
1. Sky surfing
Seven years later French skydiver Joel Cruciani put bindings on a surfboard and became the first sky surfer. The trouble is it’s impossible to control a full size surfboard 1000 metres up, so air aces Laurent Bouquet and Patrick de Gayardon later came up with a special parachute-equipped, skateboard-sized board. In the early 90s the sport got cool when Pepsi, Coca Cola and Reebok shot sky surfing acrobatic videos for their ads. These days filming is mandatory - sky surf teams must include a camera flyer and are not just judged on their moves but also on the quality of their video. If you thought knocking out vertical rotations in freefall was dodgy enough, try filming them while plummeting to earth at 225km/h.
