Big Jig Rig is the work of Mike Ross and a group of artists called American Steel. Four stories high, you can climb through the tankers and emerge through a portal at the top. Oil is at the heart of the global economy, environment and political system, and Ross’s dismantled oil tankers, remade contorted around a metal platform, comment on the industry’s power.
