1. Albino octopus
This deathly white octopus was one of many new species discovered in the pitch black, hot-as-hell thermal vents of the Southern Ocean. The Oxford Uni team who investigated via their remotely operated vehicle, Isis, have brought back over 1200 species of rock, bug and animal.
