Fancy the idea of a spidery thing running amok inside you? No, neither do we, but scientists at Pennsylvania University reckon in the future tiny robots like this could move inside blood vessels, repairing damage and delivering drugs to where they’re needed. But don’t worry they would be tiny, each one would be smaller than one thousandth of a millimetre. They’re made of gold and silver spheres, and apparently they look like teeny-weeny Christmas baubles close up
