1. Found: pea-sized frog
This new amphibian fits on to the tip of a pencil. The minute frog, one of the smallest in the world, was recently discovered inside a plant in the rainforests of Borneo. The species has been displayed in museums for more than a hundred years but it was believed the specimens were just babies. It’s only now that that scientists have realised they are actually fully grown animals.
