What does it do? It’s waterproof to five metres, plus dustproof and shockproof, so you can use it where you wouldn’t want your phone smashed to smithereens: snorkelling, riding down mountains and at the most raucous parties. And the entire thing is designed to be super-simple to use. Most stuff is off one button, with a few touchscreen menu options on top.
What’s it like to use? Between the single main button and touchscreen, it really is easy to get up and running. And the in-built USB plug means transferring to your computer is fuss free. Results are very good, with the video coping well at speed, in fast-paced transitions from light to dark areas and with detail at slower speeds. Plus, dunk it in the drink or bounce it off rocks and it comes back smiling.
