Kaos RC sent Superman 500ft into the sky to promote the release of LEGO Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes on 22 June.
They sent the kryptonite-fearing LEGO piece on a magical mystery tour of London taking in Hyde Park, Docklands, Primrose Hill and Soho but had to get the same air traffic control clearance as an airliner.
The Kaos RC team attached the man from Krypton to their £3,000 helicopter using a cocktail stick and some cable ties and recorded the footage with a GoPro HD headcam.
